Cleveland Institute for Computational Biology (CICB)-affiliated faculty member Associate Professor Fred Schumacher, PhD, and Population and Quantitative Health Sciences (PQHS) Professor Erika Trapl,PhD, will be presenting their work “From Barbershop to Biopsy: Improving Access to Genetic Screening through the Cleveland African American Prostate Cancer Project” at the American Society of Human Genetics, November 5th-9th in Denver, Colorado. Their abstract was selected for a platform presentation and will be featured in the session titled “Creative Community Engagement: Gathering Data for Better Participatory Research.”
