TWO CICB-affiliated trainees selected for 2024-2026 ASHG HGSI!

Two Cleveland Institute for Computational Biology (CICB)-affiliated trainees were selected for the 2024-2026 American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG) Human Genetics Scholars Initiative (HGSI): Razaq Durodoye and Esteban Vazquez-Hidalgo, PhD. Razaq is a graduate student in the Epidemiology & Biostatistics PhD program under the mentorship of Dr. Scott Williams. Dr. Vazquez-Hidalgo is a post-doctoral fellow under the mentorship of Dr. Will Bush. Both are members of this class of eight trainees who will engage in intensive mentorship and career development activities designed to support trainees and early career investigators underrepresented in the fields of human genetics and genomics.
